100 x $100 challenge

have you been blessed, like me, with more than you need?
could you sacrifice something in your budget in order to give to an orphan's cause?

i want to raise $10,000 for orphan care by december 31, 2014.
i've called it the 100 x $100 challenge and i'm looking for 100 donations
(from individuals, couples, groups of people, etc.) of $100 each.

would you consider giving and impacting the life of an orphan?
there are numerous organizations by which you can impact orphans,
but i'd love for join me and my work with nightlight at their 1:1 partnerships in china.
(i can help ensure your money is getting used appropriately.)

the needs are always changing, but last november we did things ranging from getting fresh paint on the bedroom walls to funding cardiac surgery for a 5 yo girl.  while i won't know the exact needs until i arrive in china, there will definitely be needs!

donations will go toward things like (but not limited to):

  • feeding/nutritional program
  • updated cribs (safety purposes)
  • additional nanny staff (current ratio is 1 nanny to ~15-20 kids)
  • equipment needs for children with disabilities
  • medical treatment
  • adoption paperwork
  • developmentally and educationally appropriate toys
  • physical therapy intervention
  • nanny training

thanks for considering!  if you have any questions,
please feel free to email me directly at: clark.april@gmail.com
